Cartoon Network wanted to generate buzz for their upcoming show Batwheels among young comic book and pop-culture fans at New York Comic Con. We recreated the streets of Gotham City on the streets of New York and invited young Bat-fans to immersive themselves in the world of Batwheels as they took the wheel of their own “Batwheels” vehicle to help Bam the Batmobile on a special mission.
The experience was one of the only activations at NYCC that catered to children, resulting in differentiation and delight and offering parents and kids a welcome reprieve from the bustling and crowded convention floor. Over 620 young fans took the wheel throughout the weekend racking up more than 1500 laps around the track and endless smiles.
